I have 3 Fire Fighting Plane Stations and 3 Helicopters and 2 Airtankers and the game won't let me build more says I am limited to 8. I don't have 8? I have over 500 Fire stations I am a little lost as I cannot find anywhere how this scaling works , stations V plane stations?

675 stations 184 Large Fire Stations, 491 Small Fire Stations , 69 Forestry extensions

You can have:
- station count/25 dispatch centres
- station count/25 helipads (US), 10 helipads (UK and Australia)
- wildfire extension count/25 + 3 aircraft fire stations (3 from start + 1 per each 25 extensions)
In the Australian version they started enforcing this after the fact, a few months back. If you want more Airbases you'll need to add more Wildfire/Bushfire Extensions. I activate them for every fire station for this reason.

One thing I had done was to get the Forestry extension in every fire station I built but turned off the majority of them except my actual working Forestry station's which has given me the most for my operational air fleet for WL fires. I have 263 FD stations along with 263 Forestry extensions and a total of 30 aircraft from lead plane to water drop helos and helitaks for transporting my hot shots and smoke jumpers. My account (County) is very expensive I have put a lot of credits into building and even a lot of coins into it.
