Create custom mission requirements

  • NOTE BEFORE ANYBODY BRINGS THIS UP: I AM NOT SUGGESTING THE ABILITY TO REDUCE MISSION REQUIREMENTS, THAT SHOULD NOT CHANGE


    I suggest that we add a feature to add to mission requirements, for example "Unknown Structure Fire" only requires 1 engine, I think that we should have the option to add to a missions requirements to make dispatching more realistic. I know in many places, any structure fire or fire in a building would be something like 3 engines, 2 ladders, heavy rescue, chief, fire marshal, etc. I do not think that we should be able to reduce requirements because then someone could just make everything require 1 engine and complete high payout missions quickly with a single engine, however I do not see much harm in letting us increase requirements beyond what is required.

  • You can choose to send more than the required vehicles to any mission. Just send the vehicles as you feel fit.

    agree with EMS-Chief if it is not broken then we should not fix it. Also, careful what you wish for... we asked that the issue of wildland fires being spawned in the middle of a huge city and we got a fix....with a huge cost associated with it.

  • It would be great of you had the ability to cap the size of the missions that are spawned, It gets boring having tanker explosion after tanker explosion in the same suburbs 10 times. a day. I would like to see the ability to slide scale small medium to large events and the system spawn these according to the user's selections. Maybe also False Alarms, when I was in the job in a city 80% of downtown jobs were false alarms triggered by workman or wateror steam or people.

    If I send two or more the mission time appears to reduce
    Obviously for some missions sending more resources would not reduce the mission time
