suggestion for the suggestion forum

    Since I have no idea what the mods are trying to say in the tow truck post and I feel like part of it is about me, I have a suggestion for the suggestion forum.

    Have a simple rule that is clear to everyone for what you want in the suggestion forum.

    For example:

    In the suggestion forum you can only reply to the original poster and you can only ask questions to clarify what their suggestion is.

    So if you don’t like the suggestion you don’t reply, If you like the suggestion you can reply with the heart icon. Maybe you can have a thumbs down icon for if someone don’t like it.

    To me something like that would clear up what the mods were trying to say and change the dynamics of the suggestion forum and still have a way to ask question about the idea with our derailing the idea.

    What we were trying to say is that there is nothing wrong with saying you don't like something, but there is a problem developing whereby certain individuals think it is appropriate to change the topic or argue with each-other on the thread. Want to argue? Do it in direct messages. The rest of us aren't interested in a back-and-forth. I hope that clears it up.
