• Hi,

I'm Jonn a new JR Content Advisor for the US Team The Team is looking for ideas for Future updates and as we have Police Equipment and Fire Equipment, I was Looking into the Idea of EMS Equipment but I'm stumped. Does anyone have any ideas????

    Thanks,

  • Critical Care
EMS Command (attach to EMS Chief)
    Tactical Equipment

I already train all my EMS Chief's to EMS Mobile Command....but that is not really equipment. Not opposed to adding EMS equipment as long as it is NOT required to complete missions. I have all of the State of Fla almost covered as well as part of ALA and GA... being mandated to go back and add EMS equipment to all my set up would cost astronomically.

How does one get to be a content advisor?

  • Fire Rehab equipment: for large fires

Bariatric Equipment: some agencies have larger stretcher or dedicated trucks for moving abnormally large patients

Triage Equipment: to count also as EMS Chief

Tactical Gear so ALS/BLS units can be tactical ambulances

    Hazmat Equipment for same reason

Tech rescue/SAR equipment to count toward rescue ambulances

  • I would love to see Water Tank and/or Fire Hose equipment (similar to the current equipment for fire units) that would allow Fly-Cars and EMS Rescue units to provide a small amount (150 gallons) of water for fire suppression.

This would allow units similar to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Fast Response units (pictured), which are staffed by paramedic firefighters to respond to fire and EMS calls.

  • Most EMS/Ambulance vehicles all carry a Defibrilator and an ECG, Echocardiogram. Not to mention small medical supplies like Gauze, Sailine solutions, IV tubes and other smaller misc things.

That'd just be counted in a standard ambulance, wouldn't need to be optional equipment

I would agree. Why would we request to "add" various equipment that costs credits or coins to a ambulance that would normally be equipped with it when it goes in service...

One of the few times I'm in agreeance with Boden. I will say though, the EMS equipment for fire trucks should probably be downsized to like 5 units, as it isn't that bulky or heavy.
