The lowland SAR command van i have set to containing max 3 people howver when sent to a mission it only takes 2 people

I am really struggling to see the issue based on those (frankly ridiculously thin) screenshots. Do you have 3 people trained correctly, who are not assigned to, or on board of, another vehicle, and do you have anyone assigned to the command vehicle without that training?

lol sorry, my wide ass screen. I have 2 people SAR command, 1 person search advisor. those 3 are assinged to the SAR command van. The vehicle has been selected to have a max crew of 3 but on the call they have only taken 2 people

All good.
The training required for the vehicle is Search Management Training and only staff with that training will be able to crew the vehicle. The search advisor will need to crew a different vehicle.
