A moderator or content advisor can confirm, but I think EMS Chief is still needed to complete the mission.... The MCV would be the Command Staff and the EMS Chief would the Medical Branch in ICS I guess. One way to find out is to wait and dispatch EMS Chief after the incident is running...see if still needed when MCV gets there. I do know that MCV "requires" EMS Command and EMS Chief does not

MCV units can replace EMS Chief.
