Not sure if this is even a possibility, I know for the car patrol route can set it by I was thinking what if there was a way to set up a Geo fence or think of it as a poly zone set it up by the county line structure or by city limits and then the vehicle set for patrols would go out and they would choose their routes automatically without following a specific and just go by what is on the roadmap, but they patrol within geographical map area for their jurisdiction with the selection of the be within that area
does that sound like too much?

This would be great for districts. if anyone has ever used software like SARtopo or OnX Offroad you can draw lines and make polygons. this would also be helpful to draw out response areas or divisions for fire. this could help with letting you know if you use up a unit in that area like k9 units or battalion chiefs instead of automatically pulling them from another response area or zone
