I want to add search & rescue to my game, however, none of the fire departments in my area have a unit or staff dedicated to SAR. However, all of the sheriff’s departments have search and rescue teams. So, that would be awesome if an extension for SAR could be made available for police stations. In addition to that, you guys should add some more off roading vehicles for police, like a rescue, utility, if not already, utv & atv trailers, etc.

I know on the west coast majority of counties the LE agencies were lead on SAR operations fire slowly got into SAR. I believe LASD got into SAR late 40's or early 50's where LAC got into SAR early 2000 after I had left the department.

these are off my Tahoe, the roof rack for my cargo is off it normally goes on winter months or when prepping for longer operation periods.

You could always build it as a fire station with the SAR as a specialisation. You can build it right on top of the current police station.
That's what I've always done for co-located Fire / Paramedic stations, since it is faster/cheaper to do that than use an extension.

I would, but small fire stations cost about 500k while PD is still only 100k
It is the cost of playing the game I guess. In real life I don't know of many Police departments that have a S&R team..Generally it seems Fire Takes the lead supported by PD

It really depends on the region. Almost every county in California has sheriff based search and rescue and I would assume it’s the same for a lot of other surrounding states. It would be a very nice additional extension and feature to the game that is actually realistic for a lot of states. I don’t know where you live that doesn’t mainly have sheriff or separately running SAR which is strange to me, but like I said, it’s not going to be the same everywhere, but as you can see from the photos, they do exists.

Good point...agree, as long as they don't make it mandatory for all. If having it triggers missions good. But often when they add features it then triggers missions to require units like "traffic control" being mandatory and thus you can't finish missions. When they added Traffic Control I had almost 80% of Florida done with fire and police and I have spent countless days and thousands of coins trying to get traffic control in all my police stations. Same thing exists due to them adding the "technical rescue" training for certain missions. But I get your point and you are correct. I am from Florida btw.
