I just noticed that there are some discrepancies between what vehicles can carry certain equipment and what "amount" of equipment that vehicle can carry.
The above two both say that the Heavy Rescue + Light Boat can carry them, but when you look at the Heavy Rescue + Light Boat, it can only carry 10 equipment, despite the above 2 each being 20.
This just adds fuel to my opinion that the "space" taken up by the pieces should be halved as many real world vehicles can carry much more than what is allowed in the game.

I figure it is some sort of elevated master stream (Snozzle, Squrt, Snorkel, etc) but it still doesn't change the fact that it doesn't fit on what it says it should.
Agreed. I had reported a similar issue to this, just calling out different equipment and vehicles. Mine has been open for months.
