Halloween coins

If you go to the even tab you will see that you can use the "Halloween coins" to expand or move up to a higher level. Each level you move up the amount of credits received for completing Halloween missions increases.

new question is what happens to all your excess coins? I have upgraded as much as I can and now my "halloween event" bar is always green but all am doing is collecting pumpkins, but can't spend them?
