Fire Stations as Ambulance Stations

  • That’s when I noticed the issue but then I added a few fire stations with the ambulance extension but then looked at the number of ambulance stations needed for another MCU and the number didn’t change.

    AI Overview

You need a total of 20 ambulance stations to purchase one Mass Casualty Unit (MCU) in Mission Chief, with a premium account requiring 15. While fire stations with EMS extensions count, it's generally recommended to build separate ambulance stations.

    • Standard rule: You can purchase one MCU for every 20 ambulance stations.
    • Premium account rule: This is lowered to 15 ambulance stations with a premium account.
    • Building strategy: Some players find it more efficient to build separate, smaller ambulance stations rather than expanding existing fire stations with EMS extensions.
    • Expansion vs. separate stations: Both a fire station with an EMS extension and a dedicated ambulance station count towards the total for purchasing an MCU.
    • Clarification: A question on the Mission Chief forum noted that EMS extensions are treated the same as dedicated ambulance stations for the MCU purchase, based on the 1:20 ratio.

I read that is you are looking for the number to decrease, like the number of remaining stations? Is that right? If that is what you are expecting that number wont decrease, it just tells you for every 20(15 for premium) you can buy a MCV.
