I have assigned one MOM and one Railway Police per vehicle
This leaves spare staff (oddly this works for normal Police Stations)
I will add one further vehicle to each station and then compare

I then added a fourth BTP Police Station and missions started to appear, requiring Railway Police
Oddly this fourth Police Station is not yet completed for active Railway Police missions, but it seems this was the minimum requirement
A standalone building was discussed but then we decided not to proceed as we were only introducing 2 vehicles, 1 of which (Road to Rail) would be for Fire stations.
We then decided the EIU would be better suited for the Police station
What I’m say is there is different type of EIU there is vans and cars then there is the famous ones in London which btp and TFL trucks with the Road to Rail stuff it is joint thing i believe joint between the fire services and network rail then you can have the like emergency rail response vehicles this could be a small van or car to a large truck then you network rail own command units that is why I said about having it who build so you could maximise the use of it the stuff

I see you mentioned the TFL trucks! I'm London based and in order to get round this rail road fire engine unit I'll be using the TFL ERU (emergency response unit) as the RRU. Then for out of London god knows!

Hello there I was just wondering if there was any chance of maybe getting a whole new station for the rail stuff for engineers I know you can’t use network rail but that is why I have said engineers for various vehicles like there own eiu command units and other vehicles like that similar to the tow truck update
I spent most of today amending and configuring the BTP
It now works perfectly
Build a new Dispatch Centre - BTP
Build a new Small Police Station, assign to BTP Dispatch Centre
Amend the IRV to a new category type - BTP
Purchase / transfer Railway Police staff
Remove / transfer the existing Police Staff to another Police Station
Assign two Railway Police per IRV BTP
As the IRV BTP is not within the ARR it remains available for the upgraded Railway Police missions
In a few days time I will replicate this with the Network Rail depots, which will use the Small Fire Station
Again, there are no staff and only the RRU

Specialists are from local police, on request as and when required, BTP have none of these!
I have checked with BTP Scotland and they too only have PTS certified officers
DSU in Scotland = zero (16 on call from Police Scotland)
ARV in Scotland = zero (9 on call from Police Scotland)
EIV = three (8 on call from Network Rail)
BTP's Scotland Division has almost nothing of "interest" (specialist vehicles) aside from a single mobile command unit in Glasgow (which is, funnily enough, off the run quite a lot and still not even available in game) and some shoddy remnants of OSU, which consists of 3 carriers across the country to make up a single part-time serial. There was at some point in history DSU in Glasgow with BTP, but I'm 99% sure this no longer exists. Glasgow will sometimes temporarily have more specialist assets from the likes of Manchester come up if there's a particularly large event on.

Agreed, there was one BTP DSU, but the officer transferred back to local duties
Equally, this used an end-of life Volvo Response vehicle
Ironically this vehicle returned back to local duties and was written off a few weeks later!
At the last event two DSU from Glasgow were provided, and this has been the arrangement for several years
There is a similar arrangment in Edinburgh
As I understand it for events in Dundee and Aberdeen DSU from outwith Scotland are provided
