Hey guys, I thought maybe it was like something to do with the expansions or something, but in so many departments I have several slots available and money to buy, but it won't let me buy the vehicles. Ideas? Am I missing something?
So many stations won't let me buy vehicles even though there are multiple spots left.

what vehicles are you trying to buy? Some are not available unless you have an extension for that type....Example: Forestry for Wildland units, Wildland extension for Wildland Command, Airport for ARFF, Foam to buy foam vehicles and EMS to by ambulances and so forth

This occurs when you purchase an extension that offers bays that are specifically for certain vehicles. They are reserved bays that can only have the vehicles related to the extension built.
If you want any vehicle, you'll need to buy another slot.
You will be able to purchase the vehicle type reserved for the extension purchased.
