Battalion Chiefs as EMS Chiefs

I have always questioned the need for both EMS and Batt Chiefs and why Batt Chiefs as IC can't authorize transport. I know a lot of departments have them so that is why we have two in the game. Be careful what you ask for because what you are asking will require everyone with existing large set ups to train Batt Chiefs to that level and add the equipment you mention or they will become useless for what you suggest. The cost for those having large set ups would be enormous. Just my thoughts and opinion...thats all.

I think this could be possible, honestly. Maybe a training or something, and having medical equipment. This could even work for MCC's. I personally would like EMS chiefs to act as basic fly-cars. It could also be a setting in Dispatch Center or the vehicle.
