Should I use quints for ladders and rescues for engines
Whats the best set up to not have missing apparatus on missions but keep it as real as possible.
I currently built out staten island.

All depends on how realistic you want to be. Yes..Quints double as ladders and rescue engines double as squads and if you use equipment storage you can add "Heavy Rescue Equipment" to Engines and it makes them Heavy Rescue Capable it appears. I use this link to figure out where my stations are and what apparatus is in them. I find it fairly accurate (95% =/-) a least in Florida.
