  • First of all, I think this CP was really well executed & I love the additions, but i think mission requirements (to spawn- not units)should be reconsidered:

    Several calls despite only needing one response vehicle, and an additional EOD resource, require more then one Bomb Disposal Station
    I think this is an unfair requirement, as there are so few squadrons across the country, that building more then one is annoying when playing realistically
    Such as:

  • This seems like a well executed content pack, thank you to those who made it happen.

    There are a very limited number of EOD locations in the UK, so it would be great if the mission spawn area controls from Mountain Rescue/lifeboats was added to the bomb disposal stations, so we could set them to cover much larger areas. For example there are only two marine EOD locations in the UK as far as I know - Plymouth and Portsmouth - so for those playing with realistic stations there will be very very few marine EOD missions. Spawn areas would allow people to expand the ranges of these stations without increasing the range of every other station.

    An alternative to that would be making them work like the towing stations do, where instead of generating within a radius of the station they generate pretty much anywhere, provided the stations/extensions/POI requirements are met.

    I understand we won't get the 'spicy' missions, but hopefully in future they might consider adding missions like abandoned luggage or other 'false alarm'-type callouts. Totally get the compromise to get this through the door though.

    Hi, this was designed so that they would function like HART and missions would spawn anywhere near fire/pol/amb stations. If this is not happening please let us know.

    I'm only having bomb disposal missions appear in the radius of the bomb disposal stations. Those stations are assigned to their own dispatch centre, but this does not have the 'coverage area' option checked.

    I have flagged this with Alctw10 to refer back to the Devs and see whether they have set spawning the way we suggested.

  • The main issue is it is based on Police Stations
    Therefore you could cheat and create additional (Bomb Squad) stations with no resources, but active

    Looking at the Possible Missions this requires three stations, and that is what I am planning
    The third station is a phantom with no staff or resources
    I will then compare

    As an aside feels similar to the Railway Police / Railway Fire

  • Not bad. I was really worried it was going to be a load of stupid calls like "Car bomb" and other terrorist associated EOD calls, so im rather happy with the fact its all WW2 ordnance related so far.

    The spawn rate seems a little low to me, but I need to wait for all training to finish and I bring all stations on line rather than the 2 I have currently to see if that changes notably, but so far Ive gotten only 2 calls in about 900 completed missions

    The non-EOD unit requirements seem a bit high to me, and maybe a tad random. Would HART or the RNLI really attend any of these calls? I think HART should be outright removed and Maritime police (from the US version of the game) need to be added ASAP to replace the Lifeboat requirements.

    For future calls, please stick with the current theme, maybe adding more modern versions such as clearing firing ranges (new POI would be good for this)

    Also the "Crashed military fast jet off airport" should have an EOD variant as if the aircraft was carrying any live weapons at the time of the crash, EOD would respond to it. You could also add a HGV accident for munitions truck that had an EOD requirement too.

    HART/Lifeboats would absolutely be required at the missions introduced.

    Evacuations taking place in a high risk location with the added hazard of unexploded ordnance, you would definitely see HART at these types of calls. Lifeboats could absolutely be used also, especially for busy areas to help keep the area clear of other vessels.

    Your comments about maritime police, very niche in some areas, I think you mean a police boat would be present in place of Lifeboats? In a select few areas of the UK this may be correct however the idea is to try and represent the whole UK and not small pockets.


    The mission spawn radius has been raised as they are obviously not spawning as intended.

    So will the lifeboats/hart be added / variations of the mission be added. Also alot of comments over price of the building 500k and max credit for a mission is 17.5k.

    There are missions already that require HART/Lifeboats/Coastguard.

    The CP is designed to be specialist and not to be used on the same scale as other services, hence the cost.

  • Not sure what makes this similar to railway policing. Also don't understand what you mean by police stations being "the main issue" unless you mean where missions are spawning. If that is the case, please provide screenshots confirming this. If you mean that you have an issue with the number of police stations required, then you should know this was designed so that the number of stations required corresponds to the types of resources attending generally speaking. No idea what you mean by "cheat". Either you have 3 Bomb Disposal stations or you don't. Whether you use it is sort of your own decision and irrelevant.

    Mission spawn has been corrected.

    The Bomb Disposal missions were being generated by the Bomb Disposal HQs which is not how it was intended.

    The DEVs have now corrected this to use the Fire stations as the generating buildings meaning missions should now spawn across the player's area.

    Please don't forget, you can select your mission spawn distance in your game settings if you wish to increase this further than the standard distance.

  • The spawn rate is still incredibly low. Ive got 10x EOD stations now online and ive not seen a single EOD call in 3+ days. Thats with 3x speed enabled and blasting through 100s of calls. Now I dont want every other call to be EOD, but the task to complete EOD calls Ive only done 3/4 of the first task. Given the cost of the stations, they need to spawn a little more often

  • I am still testing
    I currently have 101 active Fire Stations
    Five Bomb, two of which are Marine

    I get about three Bomb missions for every hundred (3%)
    Personally, that is a little too high, but is acceptable at the beginning of the campaign and with the task rewards
    It does mean I have more resources than there actually are in Scotland in reality, but that is the game compromise I am making

    I would like to see these types of missions in the near future, the emphasis on WW2 ordnance is a little bland
    Military vehicle / convoy involved in road accident
    DM reports unexploded bomb (POI DM Base)
    Fishing vessel reports mine / caught in net (that would justify Lifeboat)
    and so on...

    Have to agree, this then leads on to Military Police and Police Marine extension
