I'm in quite a large alliance and theres A LOT of HRL's around the place
Would be quite cool if we could filter out seeing certain building types, both our own and alliance

You can't filter out alliance/member buildings, it's all or nothing.
But you can show/hide different types of your own building. it's on the top right corner of the map. -

I always liked to see all alliance buildings, my own and all POIs. Then I discovered that if I hide them, the game runs better!
