At the moment there are a huge number of dead alliances and inactive players across the servers. A lot of people either join alliances just to troll/chat rubbish and leave, or simply quit the game altogether. There are also many alliances where nobody has logged in for months or even years, which makes the server feel far less active than it actually is.
A possible improvement could be:
• Automatically archive alliances where no members have been active for 6–12 months
• Hide inactive alliances from the alliance search list
• Mark inactive player accounts as archived after long periods offline
