Converting US missions to UK missions

    It's quite common for US missions to be added straight to the UK version without modification and this can sometimes be a bit weird. So i wanted to create a thread for discussing said call types and possible ways of changing them to be more appropriate to the UK version.

    For example:

    "Fans fight at basketball game"

    Basketball is quite a big thing in the US, but far less so over here and I wonder if simply changing it from Basketball to something like Rugby would be more appropriate. (I do wonder if the football version was more of a coincidence and the football version was created with the US football in mind, not the European football)

    US missions being ported over should be a thing of the past now, advisor created missions started again today.

    Thanks for highlighting the mission though, I really hadn't looked at the requirements and can see "BLS can replace ALS ambulance" which is obviously not a UK thing.

    I will get this mission sorted 👍

    I didnt even notice the BLS bit :D

    But thats great news about dedicated calls being added again

    Alctw10 I really wasnt paying attention, there is also the "Fans fight at volleyball match" which I for some reason thought was football match, it also has BLS replace ALS thing, but that call too could do with being converted to something more appropriate.

    Tbh, I think both of these calls need a full review. 20x Prisoners but only 4-6 police cars?

    I would also assume that PO would be on standby for large matches?

    Football Pub Fight - perhaps adjusting resources for these missions to be more akine to this existing mission?

    Yeah, that is a good shout. 8x IRVs and 1x DSU for 4 prisoners vs 4-6x IRVs for 20 prisoners is rather funny :D

    I think 20 prisoners is a bit unrealistic too - typically police will only arrest the worst offenders at the site, as they simply dont have the resources to arrest everyone. I would lower it too.

    Yeah, for just the fight part that would make sense, but I was thinking about an incident I recall from a few years ago when there was a big football match between Portsmouth and Southampton and there was a lot of violence following the match. So maybe a large scale post-match Public order call with 10+ prisoners could be appropriate.

    to be honest i think there should be alot more Public Order missions involving football, like policing a match, dealing with the issues after

    Seems like there is news articles often about it. Had 2x local pubs get closed after massive fights that broke out recently. Would be way more realistic than half the firearms calls we have currently in-game
