In my area alot of our EMS trucks have 2 stretchers in them so in the event another unit is too far away that specific unit can transport 2 people at the same time.
Would it be something of interest to have the option to have a double stretcher ems truck for the ems station/fire station expansion

You could always make a graphic image to your ems and pretend its a two stretcher unit..? A number of my vehicles are edited to the specific vehicle and I pretend its a vehicle that MC doesnt have.

This suggestion isn't very helpful in that he's suggesting a specific additional function that he would like fulfilled. I think Muxlow has a good idea here. Although it wouldn't benefit me, it opens the door for future Mass Casualty Response Units.

Mass casualty units are on the list, I think mass casualty units would be more of a priority than an ambulance that can carry 2 patients but it is an interesting suggestion

Mass casualty units are a great idea. I was just providing a suggestion for a two person EMS unit. Basically a two person unit is similar in size to a one person EMS unit. Mass casualty is more along a better idea.

Im in no rush at all to see a double stretcher unit. Just an idea as we have quite a few double stretcher units in my area.. Not that they get used to transport 2 people often.. but we got em. Figured could be handy for a call that requires 2 ems units and could sent just one.
For example a station out in a rural area.. rather then having 2 ems units could just have a double stretcher crew there

My regional EMS area we use an Ambus, it can care for up to six stretcher patients with a staff of 8 plus driver. It looks like a city bus painted like an Ambulance.

An Ambus has already been discussed before and it is on the long waiting update list. Right now they are focusing their attention to police.

maybe also add a Doctors Unit for mass casualty calls. and also change a setting so that some medical calls require a Fly-Car as well as an ambulance. as in uk RRU have enhanced paramedics who can issue different drugs. etc etc
