Tractor-drawn fire apparatus

Hello everyone,

So I've been playing Missionchief.com for a while and thought it would be cool if we had tractor-drawn units that a lot of specialist fire apparatus and ladder trucks have.

So basically we could have about 3 or 4 tractor drawn cabs at lets say a Special Operations Command centre (a fire station) in our area on Missionchief with like 5 or 6 trailers. So when there's a big incident we could choose what trailers to attach and mobilise them to the incident. I hear there is a similar system like this on the other version of Missionchief in Germany?
The trailers can be units we already have like Mobile Command Vehicle, Mobile Air, HazMat, Water Tanker and Heavy Rescue but can be attached to different tractor-drawn cabs.

These are simply cabs (tractors) that can attach different trailers of different equipment for use at any incidents that require special operations as seen below: [Blocked Image: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/yUoX3XplpUc/maxresdefault.jpg]
For example, the FDNY's Special Operations Command have several tractor-drawn units such as Collapse Rescue Units, Special Operations Command, Hazardous Material Decontamination...etc like the ones seen below:

I just think this will be a REALLY cool improvement to the game that everyone will like. So thank you for taking your time to read and enjoy playing

Interesting idea, this may be a way around the prime mover/pod carrier issue, the problem with that is not alot of american departments have pod carriers but i have seen many like this, for the UK players the trailers could be renamed to pods and cabs to the prime movers.

This was actually something I was going to suggest regarding the pod issue, but looks like you beat me to it.

That's good then. Yeah trailers are more common in the US than pods, unlike the UK.

Actually in the us the prime mover doesn't actually change trailers as fair to my knowledge they keep the trailer on
In Australia we have a USAR tractor trailer and that's all it's used for plus two fleet maintenance trucks used for fire truck transport they don't swap the trailers

Actually I think that in a lot of counties this system is not used, for example in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, that may have water tanker but not command posts or hazmat units like in the US or Germany, and use specialized vehicle for every situation. But this could theorically be applied to the army's truck (that usually have those types of vehicle, for example for the Sappers) all over the world. Anyway good idea

In addition to this, I think tractor-drawn aerials should be added because that it a big part of American apparatus.

We've already stated that we don't plan on adding tiller trucks. There's nothing they would do (in the context of this game) that a platform truck can't do (in the context of this game). If you want a tiller, buy a platform truck, rename it, and give it a unique icon.
