but for rural stations it's not accurate.
I have noticed this as well especially with my Sheriff's Office... they do not ever get calls in random parts of the County they are always in one of the towns that also has a police department. It would be nice to have this feature so that my deputies have to cover car/deer crashes or medicals out in the county. One of my police departments I have in game also typically assists deputies with calls up to 10-12 miles away from city limits at a county campground, covering crashes on the highway, etc.
the point is still valid it would be nice here in Australia stations can cover huge areas so having a large station in the middle of nowhere is pointles
Would love to see this implemented sometime! Will really add more to the game and a similar idea is being able to edit whether a station has a high call volume respective to the average we have now - so some stations out in the sticks might get a call way less often than those in cities - but within the limitations of mission speeds, so it's still controlled by the game. like an option for high / medium / low call volume?
