Whenever I try to buy a station with a rescue engine, it processes it for a second but then a whole new mission chief game window suddenly appears in the buy station window, and its a game with no stations placed. cant seem to figure out whats wrong.

If im not mistaken you have to be a Capt in the game to get the units !!!

Again as mentioned, the likely reason is not having sufficient rank.
I'll mention this to Sebastian as appears this error is not being reflected back to the user as expected.

This has been fixed. Please let me know if there are any further issues.
Of course, you still won't be able to purchase the quint/rescue engine but it should at least tell you why now.

seems pretty clear to me... "credits at the rank of Captain" and "more experienced players" Unless you're trying to buy with coins.
