When there is call that needs hazmat and has patients that might have chemicals on them there should be a special vehicle for that because the new york has an ambulance called haz tac just for these circumstances. What do you think guys?

Maybe not a special vehicle, because I think people are just renaming hazmat units into Decon. This does bring up an interesting idea, could we maybe add injuries to the unknown Tanker spill call?

No i mean a hazmat ambulance

I know what a HAZTAC is. I’m saying I don’t think it would be beneficial, but then I spun the idea a bit.

You just made it worse when you "so called spun the idea" and im talking about all calls that require hazmat not just unknown tanker spill call

If not a specific ambulance for the call, maybe a training facility for the EMS. So they could be trained to handle hazmat calls ?

If not some form of Paramedic Academy which gives a HAZMAT Medical Specialty, I feel like Paramedics should have access to the Fire School's HAZMAT course for now.

Do certainly agree, but an ambulance specialized for this with a own crew would also be cool to see.
