Alliance Poaching

  • That is correct. It doesn't state anywhere in the TOS that other users can not copy how another alliance does things. I have highlighted the only rule against copying but i dont think it would cover what you are trying to report.
    §7 rules of the game
    Leitstellenspiel.de and the communication options offered via Leitstellenspiel.de serve the fun and the game of the users. The abuse for personal purposes (such as advertising, political or religious expressions of opinion) is prohibited.
    Users can send messages to each other in the game. User acknowledges that SHPLAY will not tolerate any messages, postings or other content that includes: curse
    words, vulgar or obscene phrases or sexual content, whether express or implied; Religious, political or socio-political expressions of opinion;
    Offensive, slanderous, defamatory, threatening or otherwise annoying hints, comments and / or images;
    Pursuant to these Terms and Conditions, inappropriate names for game characters or user accounts; in this case, SHPLAY is entitled to delete such inappropriate names or to rename them as a milder measure in addition to the measures mentioned under § 8 Section 2;

    Copyright or trademarked third party material without their express written permission

    Retrieval of passwords as well as personal information of other users (eg last name, address, telephone number, date of birth etc.);
    Links to commercial websites of third parties;
    Advertising including tombolas, competitions or other sweepstakes;
    "Cheat" or "hack" programs or information or links to such programs or websites claiming to have such programs abusing user passwords; or
    any other information that SHPLAY deems to be ineligible for age or inappropriate for this website.
    The user who discontinues contents is responsible for the fact that they do not violate any rights, in particular copyrights of third parties. In this respect, the user is liable for all claims against third parties themselves and directly. Should SHPLAY be claimed for such content posted by a user, the user will release SHPLAY from any and all costs incurred thereby.
    It is forbidden to knowingly disturb the dialogue of different users; for example, by repeatedly interrupting the conversation between other members, by harassing or by creating enemy images or hostilities. Messages that users send to each other in the game are not private but public. Users are therefore asked not to provide personal information such as email address, address, last name, telephone number, photos, instant messaging name, or similar. exchange. For self-protection reasons, SHPLAY strongly advises against giving such data of its own name. If there is a suspicion that certain users are trying to obtain previously obtained personal information from other users, SHPLAY should be informed at the e-mail address s.heinisch@d1e.de.
    SHPLAY points out that it is not possible to completely monitor user-submitted content. However, samples are taken and users also have the opportunity to report violations by others. SHPLAY will then carry out a review as soon as possible and, if necessary, edit or delete the contents.
    A claim to the provision of communication options does not exist.
    The user is not allowed to exploit errors in programming (so-called bugs) for his own benefit. Found bugs are to be reported to the e-mail address s.heinisch@d1e.de.
    The user is prohibited from any measure which causes excessive data traffic or interferes with the gameplay. In particular, automatic or semi-automatic scripts that execute database queries or start game mechanisms are prohibited. Likewise, any manipulation of data stored on the server is prohibited.

  • Surely this should be added?

    Realistically it would be hard to police. There are hundreds of alliances and alot of them take content from the top 10 on the list. It would also be very difficult to prove that you are the original creator of the content, for example, someone claims another person has taken something of theirs but how do we know that they haven't taken it from another one. It would be very difficult to prove things.

  • Unless Sebastian chooses to update the TOS and implements a system there is no way. The only rules against it are on here. You could message one of us and we can look into it but what we can do is very limited in terms of enforcing in game rules.

  • Yeah we don't need any arguments that can be avoided guys. It's unfortunate your Alliance was copied but this happens a lot.

    Think of it this way, They liked your ideas to help improve their Alliance as well.

  • How does one recreate the same alliance and steal members???? Members decided where they go and who they play with? Everyone is making it seem like people have to play through certain alliances... The only issue I can see is the people who try to Merge. That's the only way I can see it happening but seriously.... Players decide what they do at the end of the day.

    There's people in this world who have entirely too much time on their hands. Yes it's the players overall decision but there's players who can be very influential in making decisions. Trust me, It's very possible.

    Can an Admin or Moderator please close this thread as it's been well over 6 months since the last post?
