Anyone else getting like 10 officer downs a day, anything from literally an animal attack to a shoplifting can turn into an officer down, which I supppose is realistic, but when basically every officer I employee goes down every day I begin to wander how realistic this is. Could this possibly get reduced so there's maybe 1 a day max?

Hate this callout with a passion! So irritating that it spawns every five minutes!
-
And takes up a lot of units...

These are really beginning to get annoying now, I’m getting four or five calls at the same time expanding into officer down. I get that it can happen but that quantity in one police force, getting unrealistic now.
-
I just imagine an overzealous security "officer" going down, off duty police officers going down, the hundreds of non-response agencies, like Customs, Railway police, etc. going down. Police cadets tripping and going down. Animal control, etc.
I mean at this point in time, if you deal with any sort of laws, you're pretty much going down.

Just to what I do, send however many units is needed for an officer down to shoplifting / animal attack, along with an ambulance, problem solved
Saves alot of time haha

Not everybody, me included, has the resource to just send that many units to every call on the off chance it’s going to turn into an officer down. It would be better if the game was adjusted to reduce the amount of calls that re-spawned into one

Oh no, don't send them to every call, one after another. I know I have the units but it won't hurt to do it after another.

I also don't understand why when a call is upgraded to an officer down, there isn't an additional patient besides the existing one there.
-
The only thing I can think rationale behind that is the call came in originally for a person down and on arrival it turned out to be an officer down instead of person.
Though I have had expanded Officer Down calls come up and they were on things like brawls or whatever, and patient numbers increase as well.

It does happen often, and even though most PD calls can end up like that in real life, it rarely happens. We could look into adding a "Unit Requesting Backup" call instead, which could be one extra patrol car from what was previously needed.
