  • USAR-wise I think a lot of this would make more sense to be organized in a different way, e.g. a USAR minibus could just be a crew carrier with all trained in USAR. This is how I'd rather it be laid out:

    There are 5 USAR modules but for the purpose of in game, I don't see the point of making these separate? I'd like to see just a USAR module, USAR vehicle, a general SAR Dog Unit (FRS and MRT), and a Line Rescue Unit. You could have the requirement of anywhere between 1-5 USAR units depending on how many expansions you've got going. I know HazMat is planned to be more realistic in the future too so you'd be able to integrate Mass Decon, DIM, EnvPU, etc later on down the line which themselves are components of a USAR response.

    Thought this would be a cool idea, instead of having police cars response to debris on fast roads have national highways respond. Allows RTCs on major roads inc M25, M4, M11 etc to have some what more going to them. Could look at having other units such as ESU who repair the crash barrier etc.:)

  • Adding my own thoughts on a marine policing/dive and marine unit I think the simplest way without overcomplicating things to start with would just be a general marine vehicle and a towable boat trailer that acts as both marine policing and inland rescue, covers most services without needing devs to make new buildings and such for the dedicated boats the likes of MPS and MODP have (which could easier be added later down the line)

    100% buddy, down here in the met MPU is such a broad thing. General marine policing, dive teams, confined spaces search team. MPU work with MO19 and SO15 to bring a maritime ARV capability. This update is very simple in my eyes and only requires a building expansion and a couple new vehicles.

    Potentially an equipment option for heavy rescue units as an added extra? alternatively this unit could only complete animal rescues whereas HRUs could complete animal rescues plus their normal stuff? Maybe the HRU would take longer at animal rescue calls whereas this unit could drastically reduce the time taken at those calls?
