The wildland engines such as type 3s through 7s should still show up in the firetruck tab not other fire apparatus. They are still engines and would be very helpful if they were still in the firetruck tab

But they’re not, you wouldn’t show up to a house fire with a brush truck
-
The only Brush Truck that can respond as a Fire Engine is a Type 3 which acts as a combination unit consisting of a Type 1 Fire Engine and a Brush Truck.
-
The Type 3 Engine should show up in the Fire truck tab, but it currently does not.

I’ll make a note of that. -

What's the difference between Type 1/2? Perhaps a unit description in each fire truck type?

The only difference between Type 1 and Type 2 is crew count. Type 1 allows a max of 6 while Type 2 allows a max of 3.
Thanks,

It's the same cost though...

It's just so people can play realistically if they want to, and use type 2 as a small pickup fire vehicle and a type 1 as a full sized pump, although they both do the same job.

Ah, I see how this is going. I am guessing some people will place the fire stations at exactly where they are now and the engines exactly where they are supposed to be and just make a online FD.

Yes. I would say the majority of players play realistically (or as realistic as they can get). Not everyone plays like this though.

i always thought type 2 puts out the brush type fires faster compared to type 1?

I can agree here, I play realistically as I can. My department switched around the location of 2 of our engines. Basically just moved them to eachothers spots in 2 of the 3 stations. I mimicked it in the game.

I believe there should be an option to separate the Type III's from normal fire engine responses. In my area they are strictly for wildland use. Some agencies do use them for both. A box in the options would be great so using the AAR you can still have them respond as a wildland fire engine rather then having to rename them.

What happen to the fire dozer for the game ???

That will be in the next Wildland Update. Not to fear we'll get them. The Aircraft and Hangers were the main update then we added the remaining Brush Trucks.
