Petition for Standalone Forestry Stations

Stand alone forestry stations are great as florida has them all over the state urban and rural areas. Forestry here in Florida does Controlled Burns that doesn't always require the regular fire deparment involvement. So yes, definitely a must. Also you should have forestry expansions at your regular stations since wildlifes happen anywhere there is woods in urban or rural areas.

all - not sure if you noticed - but small stations now are able to have 1 expansion - so in theory you can have a standalone small forestry station - just have the initial engine there until the expansion is built - then delete the initial engine- and purchase the wildland unit

true - i didnt say it was a perfect solution - and one can put a t-3 in there

yes i understand and agree with that point, it would be better to have a stand alone small forestry station - but sometimes just have to use what is given for the time being

If this happens, you should be able to transfer any Forestry Dozers and Supervisors to the forestry station free

any word if the US servers will get standalone forestry stations (Wildland)? some larger departments have fire camps or forestry stations and it's getting pretty difficult to send units for hazmat, structure fires and trench rescue runs up in the mountains away from all the urban stations

Standalone Wildfire stations would be great for US Forest Service stations.

Having standalone forestry stations would add another element of trying to build like IRL

Why would this lose a lot of players

Currently the game devs have already taken steps that were requested and added the ability to use the station specialisation to make the station only spawn that type of mission.

I don't think they will lose any players, but I do think that the missions spawn too many at the same time. I have had more than 30 spawn from on station withing minutes of each other.. That is my only complaint. I have suggested also that if you have one of your regular mobile commands and train it to the forestry command level that it can substitute for the forestry mobile command as well as add the "requirement" for dozers and firefighting planes to the major incidents
