Early OTL Requirement

  • The mission RTC Entrapment has spawned for me at 5 Fire stations, 3 Police Stations and 2 Ambulance Stations, and requires an OTL to complete. However, on the ambulance vehicle purchase page, OTL is listed as “Required from 6 Ambulance Stations”.


    Please can the mission be adjusted to reflect this?

    Actually it is on alot of missions and the stuff that say required form X stations are really just form the US version of MC so you have to expand quickly also, the OTL dosent need training so it is easier to buy it

  • I do agree it needs updating at some point as it is quite far out now. The problem is the required past X number of stations actually is no help when trying to design realistic missions. You could have several 4 pump jobs so the logic would be 4 fire stations, but because a lot may then require ICU, the needed past would make it locked behind 13 stations.


    What would be better in my eyes is missions are locked until the player has at least 1 of the required specialist vehicle in their setup. Then once that happens the mission unlocks and starts spawning. Then we can get rid of the Needed after X text and just have something along the lines of, missions are unlocked with the purchase of each specialist vehicle. Or something similar.


    I hope that makes sense

    Yah like how traffic cars where done also the text should be removed tbh because most of it is not correct like take the ICCU it will spawn calls requiring it at 7 also the way you have done it may not work as someone could just not buy the specialist vehicles

    Locking jobs to what units people have would be a lot better for everyone.

    This makes perfect sense, and as Gooochy stated, it worked with Traffic Cars, I see no reason why it couldn’t be applied to all other specialist vehicles.

    It would take alot of work to do and take time away form content packs, it could be done as somthing moving forward though

  • The way how traffic cars are working is nice, but not the solutions of all other cars. Then you could say I only buy Fire engines and don't need to look to all other vehicles because they are not needed until I buy one of them.


    Also the traffic car is needed at some missions without having it.


    I like the idea of unlocking new missions when you buy a vehicle. But also the current unlocking more missions by building more buildings.
