No, what is written in the Facebook update text of MC.com applies to all worlds except Germany. Therefore, what buggs wrote about the owner role is there on all worlds.
Although great to see this being implemented. We really need a way for old alliances to be secured.
I get this can be difficult for some as their owners/founders have moved on or stopped playing.
Noticed the new role of Alliance Staff has been added.
This is great but could we have it so that any player with it is highlighted in chat, that's all I feel would be needed from it.

Sounds reasonable, I'll try to bring this up to the devs
I wouldn't want to see all staff highlighted in chat, maybe a small icon before or after their username. I think leaving highlighting to co-admins and admins is reasonable.
Larger alliances with more staff will see a cluttered chat imo.
The alliance owner role cant make an alliance event and a large scale alliance mission.

Everything alliance related is lost. Alliance hospitals, prisons, training rooms. When they join the new alliance, they gain access to that new alliances resources.

Our alliance chief disabled the requirement to contribute to alliance funds after a considerable amount was contributed. What happens to that money?
The funds remain in the alliance fund, however, no new contributions happen while the alliance funds disabled. When it's re-enabled, tax will start being contributed again.

(The team is currently discussing how they can handle this with existing alliances)

They won't have any record of "ownership" its not as bad for both UKCES or UKER we know ownership even after it has changed we can likely prove that to them. However others I believe ownership became a bit of a revolving door situation.
Still a solution is needed.
What could be a nice idea is a vote, like a head admin role.
1 person has this role.
If 60 days passes while they are offline they can be removed.
But they have to be voted in by the admins.

It is probably the only way it could be done really.
Just don't expect it to happen.

At what level within the alliance is Alliance Staff pitched at and what perms does this function / not allow? TACRfan

It is a role open to all in an alliance and has no actual perms with it from what we have seen.
It is more a marker for people that are on the alliance staff team. For us these are mostly people that advise others.
