PSU UPDATE THREAD

  • In my opinion, i would of rathered, this got delayed and the devs actually went and addressed the other of the community's requests and not leaving a job unfinished because, it seems like a lot more effort to roll a second update to address the other issues.

  • Excuse me, how come transfering staff between large police depot and police stations was not added in this update, Thank you for everythig else.

    As I said above. With the Easter holidays approaching there is only limited time to work on the game before then. Hence what has been changed has been changed.

  • Guys let’s be fair here. I went with a whole list of changes, all will be looked at, some can be rolled out now some need to be tested and that can’t be done in two days. I get that you want to see various changes but at least we are making progress

  • Also in creating LSMs, there's no option for the new units (besides mounted), would be nice if there was requirements for inspector/medic/PO/sergeant.

    Yes I do agree around adding them into other missions as regular used in other missions. Hopefully something which can be added.

    Yeah that's why I just asked if there was any update on if they're planned or not - Totally understandable that it's not all done right away, but just like to see the outlook for the future! :)

    Should the Police Depot cells be shareable like standard station cells as I see no option to share with my alliance?

  • So I'm gonna be fair and open with this post because tbh i get all sides.

    Myself and TACRFan are good friends and we speak regularly about many things including this game (Note before people question if know about upcoming updates etc its a no) TACRFan listens to my own personal feedback and bugs i come across with any update that is released for the UK game. Now this update i have been told has been in the works for some time with information about Public Order coming from a serving officer with the UK. What was suppose to be added has been toned down not by TACFan but by the devs, some of it yes was a mistake and as seen and mentioned has/will be addressed. If its not possible i please ask can we stop the petty comments or continues rants because its getting to the point where some of the Content Advisor as starting to question if what they share is good enough because they come on the forums read all posts and think "WOW" this isn't how i planned or told the Devs its like.

    Now its Easter week and in Germany its celebrated over multiple days as within the UK we have things we do, one of them is bossiness may choose to close(Myself working even tho where i work is closed) so give the Devs there weekend break and then allow them to take on the feedback, they have already listened and implemented some of it but i can just ask please don't take it out on the content team and please remember this is learning curve for the Devs they have no understanding of the UK emergency services so have to learn before they can do.

  • Hi. So in my area PSU is not always located at one station and the vehicles are mostly spread across the forces area with some stations only having one vehicle. Would this mean that every single station that I wanted to just put a regular carrier at would need to have the expansion or is there any way around this? If not I suppose I’ll just only have them at the stations where there is multiple

  • I think we're all well aware of what TACR does for us & greatly appreciate it! I've not seen anyone attack TACR or blame him- If they have then they're wrong to do so.


    If the content advisors are coming onto the forums and thinking "Wow this isnt how I planned", then that goes to show exactly where the issue lies, with the devs. As far as I've seen with every update, the advisors are suggesting and requesting things pretty much spot on. It's a shame that isn't how it gets implemented. What the advisors do has always been good enough, and none of the feedback/complaints/requests are aimed at them :). Greatly appreciate their work, as well as them acting as an intermediary between us and the developers, it really helps.

    Also, thank you again to the Devs for listening to feedback this time! Hopefully this is a sign of things improving going forwards.

    You'd need the extention in each.

  • Don't have an enormous amount of time to read the last 7 pages of this threat but is there plans to allow Public Order Level 1 to count as Level 2 when sent to a job?


    Just wondering because Level 1 is the highest trained and encompasses the same as Level 2 in it plus does more training and more specialist roles so surely we should be able to use Level 1 on missions where Level 2 are required because yeah presently, my TSG in the MPS are pretty useless as no Level 1 deployments have spawned yet for me and they are just sitting there

    Alright cheers mate. Fingers crossed a change will be allowing us to select Police Sergeant and Inspector in alarm response somehow as its painful scrolling throuhg everything to find them

  • Is it possible for the public safety extension to be renamed to liek public order extension or somthing like that "Public Safety Seems way different and more American then British, sorry to nag even more.

    An update on the changes list from the devs. As you have seen, today you can now buy two types of carriers at stations without the extension.


    The rest of the list is as follows.




    - We are working on the Level 1 counts as Level 2

    - You can buy PSU / Armed Police Carriers without extensions now

    - New vehicles count as IRV

    - We updated the Large Public Disturbance Call

    - You can build extra parking spaces for detention vans

    - We revisited the mission reward

    - You can buy the extension in Small stations.

    - Sending Personnel with the ARR is not really possible, we would advise binding the personnel and creating a custom entry.

    - We don't want to allow personnel transfer too broadly because they come with no cost once you have them and players tend to have a small city worth of personnel lying around.
