My idea for a new fire vehicle
The Light & Air you can use as Mobile air (replace the Mobile Air vehicle)
Also you need the light & air at 8pm to 6am (lights) (renovation: Choose your own time at the game)
Cost: 11.800
FF: 3

This is an interesting vehicle, would this unit get rid of the mobile air or would it be a new unit that does both lighting and air?
A replacement for the Mobile Air Vehicle
I like this idea. I know my department as well as the departments around us utilize a combination rig of light and air due to the fact our budget concerns wouldn't allow us to have a rig that is utilized for one purpose only. What are you thinking about the types of calls that would require the light portion? Building collapses? Bigger fires? etc?
only big calls not a burning truck. Building collapses, hazmat calls or big fire
I like this idea. Would it be required for every high priority call at night or a probability of it being needed.
Nowadays with the scene lighting available on every truck the uses for of a specific unit to do lighting is not as much. Portable scene lighting is much more compact. My department has one and we run it more often for manpower than for lighting. That being said, it is used heavily for DUI checkpoints/roadblocks and fire investigations. Maybe we could add a long-term event called a DUI checkpoint in the future, and then implement an air/light
An air light truck in toronto is used for working fires and higher alarm calls. Air part is used for extra cyclinder bottles, helps to replenish when bottles are low and firefighters need a replacement. The light is used mostly at night to light up the scene. I'm sure its similar in other departments around the globe. Good idea though to change it to both, and not just air.

Interesting, I wouldn't say around the globe as I don't think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that we have light and air trucks in the UK due to most fire appliances have very good scene lighting + USAR carry mobile lighting however if this was implemented for players from North America I don't think it would ruin anyone else's setup for example I would just name it an operational support unit

I've never heard of a dedicated lighting unit in the UK either. The majority of Pump and Rescue Appliances have 360 Degree scene lighting as you said, portable scene lighting ranging in size and these 'light poles' to flood a specific area with light, so I wouldn't see any need for such a unit over here.

I believe it is more of a North American type of unit. Some departments have the sufficient lights on their engines or heavy rescues, some departments need that air/light unit mostly for the extra air bottles that it may carry as well as scene lighting. I wouldn't say this is first priority but it could be a little quirk down the road that would be nice to see.
I hope that we see next times that vehicle in the game And not the german GW-A
