Not sure if this is in the right place or not, but I could not find the answer anywhere. For Police Missions... some show up requiring a sheriff unit, some do not. I know the Sheriff Units can transport prisoners (edited for content). But can you send them in place of a "Patrol" car on other police missions if they are closer or just simply use them to fill out the required compliment for "patrol cars"?

Sheriff units transport *prisoners*, not *patients*. Or am I crazy?

I think it was just a typo... but yes...a Sheriff can transport prisoners. I was just not clear if it could "replace" a patrol car if it was closer

Based on your SS your sheriff unit is transporting a prisoner not a patient. So your telling me I don't need ALS to transport my patients I can instead just send a sheriff's unit?

I am sure it was a simple mistake, but because I consider EMS-Chief to be probably the most knowledgeable player around, I started second-guessing myself about if I can start using Sheriff units as ambulances

Yup, just a typo. Had too many things on my mind at the same time haha.

I knew yours was a typo. Was referring to ChiefBoden61's initial post.
