The closets i would say to any mass cass ambulance in the UK is this ran by East Midlands Ambulance however i don't think it responds to large calls as usually HART attends these.

I believe that LAS have 2 Mass Casualty Vehicles, however they are equipment carriers rather than treatment centers.

Going back to the conversation about Mass Casualty. Would the closest to mass casualty be the Iveco Daily's (pic attatched) to mass casualty units?.

I visited WMAS HART Oldbury not too long ago. If im not mistaken they where kitted out with triage kits and erectable tents. They also had armed response kit as well which is used during acts of terror and unfortuantely are likely to be mass casualty situations.

I was just wondering if this would be the closest possible unit or if not one of the other vehicles they have would be more accurate?

Might be a stupid question but I dont know. (Ambulance isn't my speciality)

There are a few private companies that have Ambulance busses such as the Heathrow air ambulance but I think in terms of ambulance trusts it is more of the triage system.

you could use east midlands for example we have a mass treatment vehicle that can treat multiple people at one time with beds inside and send them places if need be with other crews
