Fire stations are too expensive when you reach hundreds

  • I must say, telling people to use the PAID credits to get around this is a cop-out. I don't feel like spending $100s on this game and I should not be punished for that, neither should anyone else. It's just a way to force people to buy the credits. I get the argument is to "keep it challenging" but this is a little browser game with a niche community. No one should have to pay to win here because the game makes it too hard to expand after a certain point if you're not sitting here trying to grind away all the time.

You have another option instead of using coins and that is to discontinue play. The cost to expand is not going to change and they have proven they are going to continue to add stuff that "costs" such as the new urban and rural extensions, the equipment and traffic control stuff last year and so on. They are in it to make money not to let us all play for free... Sorry to say that, but it is real life.

As you get more stations you can earn credits quicker. The station cost increase really doesn't increase faster then your potential to earn credits. I can make roughly 5-7 million credits per hour at this point, which buys me a few fire stations, and this is with Stations in real life locations.

People who choose to place fire stations anywhere with no regard to real life have the ability to earn credits extremely quickly if they build with earning credits in mind.

In real life, all fire stations are not the same cost all the time. Why should it be any different in the game?

  • I know I'm in the minority based on the poll, but the entire concept of this is that you should be managing your house and letting the alliance manage the rest.

One county in a statewide alliance is enough to keep someone who is more casual really busy.

That said. I don't find any issue spending on coins as long as you have the disposable income. It's not like the devs are billionaires squeezing money out of us.

If you buy your coins when they have promotions, you can get really good deals. The last time I purchased was over a month ago and it was 900 coins, but I got over 1800 because of the daily & fall rewards that were running. I still have several hundred left. If you're going to spend, you just need to be smart about it and maximize your dollars.

The cost of the buildings are what they use to somewhat limit how many buildings you have, you do not need to buy coins. The game is multiplayer if you join an alliance that focuses on sharing missions you can make 1 million+ in about 10 minutes of game time per day. The alliance I am in easily has 2 – 5 million credits a day in shared missions, and they are setup to share missions so most of the missions are up for 24hrs so people can join.

After a while more buildings really does not make you more money, it just gives you more missions per day. And all of them do not pay a lot, Once you figure out how to generate the missions you want you don’t need that many stations to make money.

The game is a slow game anyways you only hire people one per day, so even a small station will need about 30 days to fully staff all 6 vehicles, then there is training, ect. So just find an alliance that is set up to share missions for the purpose of sharing credits and you will no problem making money to buy stations.
