Based you can do is use callsigns that have been heard(recorded) in any documentary.

Generally speaking for security reasons, you will not find the unit names (or call signs) published for police agencies like you do for fires. I know it is that was in the US but not sure about the UK. In the US, the only way I know of to get them is have some sort of police scanner app where you can listen to the units on a radio. However, it will just be unit unit numbers and you wont be able to tell if it is K9, supervisor, SWAT, CID or otherwise. Again, I know it is that way in the US for security reasons.. Not sure at all about other countries, but suspect the same.

The most you'll usually get is fleet numbers and sometimes for some services you can kind of figure out the general system, honestly you're better just making them up or not giving them a callsign at all (Incident Response Vehicle [Police Station] is what I do)

I use IRL callsigns for all of my vehicles / Set-up.

The Generic system across the board for the police is: Borough code, followed by two numbers (some services' may have another letter at the end). Using Gwent Police as an example; It's the borough code, followed by two numbers (first number states which shift / station is on duty, second is allocated number).

E.g. BG51 - Blaenau Gwent / Tredegar. Night Shift. First Unit.

(I've also put it so they follow IRL shift patterns)
