I think the officer down call should be a rare event, I get at least 3-4 a day and that is just not realistic. It really does get old, evey police call turning into an officer down. Officer down is a rare and very unwanted call in real life. i think it is a bit overkill

It should have a change of name to maybe a police panic button call

not just that, they need to decrease the chance of it

I agree with you, and this is actually kind of our (the mod team's) fault. When we were putting together the lists of upgradeable calls, we made it so that just about any police call can become an officer down, since that's fairly realistic. We didn't take into account the chance of missions upgrading. It's something I'm hoping we'll get fixed soon.

Ok, glad to hear. It just gets so old that every police call is either a officer down, or the call gets upgraded
-
You can deactivate mission expansions. Under your Dispatch Center, goto settings, and deselect "mission expansions". That can be your quick fix for the time being.

If you were to take it away from any call, I'd say remove it from the Animal Attack call. There is no reason Eason that if an officer got bit by a dog that 5 additional police cars would be needed. In addition, for calls that already have one patient when they initially "spawn" (brawl, animal attack, whatever), and then change into an Officer Down need to add a second patient (the officer) to that call.
-
Or they could rename it to a more generalized "officer needs assistance" due to its call frequency, and make a new, less frequent (translate = rare) officer down call.
-
I agree. I have pretty much gotten in the habit of dispatching 6 units to every person check and domestic because they usually become an officer down call

You can turn off the expanding missions in the dispatch centre
