I ran into this problem trying to move aircrew. It's a known issue but I think it's low on the priority to change it.

Just had another mission with the helo transporting, when you look at transactions it is just calling it treat and transport, not showing (helo). That implies it is treating this as an ambo ride and not a helo transport.

Helo payout for an event is about 1700

Just had a mission where the Helo transported a patient and the payout was 575 instead of the higher payout for helo transport (862). Is this as intended?

On US only 30 beds max, UK is only game with 40

I think the potential for casualties should be added to roof fires. This would represent potential firefighters getting hurt, or civilians in the structure.

Specialised stations are not a new "type" of station in the way you're thinking. They're building off of the expansions we already have.
To add a forestry station when there is already a forestry expansion for fire stations makes absolutely no sense, for both game mechanics, back end, and for users.
When you activate the forestry specialization, it changes what calls the station generates, that is the biggest reason.

If you have enough engines to cover the water requirement, then sending the foam tender will help cover the tanker requirement. To me, it can be a win if you don't have enough tankers close by

I don't mind the specialization as long as the exponential price increase can be stopped. If they had to be stand-alone stations I would have to move my existing ones.

They have already been built, just adding the specialization.

EMS-Chief The stations have all been built, and they all had the forest extension done. This add-on is supposed to put the specialization on which I assume was going to be treated like an extension. That is what generated the question, why does the cost go up versus treating it like an extension and the price is constant? I previously built 17 forestry stations and I wanted to specialize them just for wildfires. If this is working as designed, the price is extremely prohibitive.

Now that I have started specializing the forestry stations, why would the price go up by station? On my 5th one and it is over 200k to specialize it.

Just opened the game and read the email from the Devs. Have not gone around and tried it yet but I know that I am really happy that this took place!!! The sugar on top is the additional slots for helos and search planes. Thank you Devs!!!

The battery fires are taking a long time to put out once the exotic metals start burning, I know that 6 hours was a jest but the fires are a challenge for the local fire departments.
