You have basically answered your own post here. If your in a massive alliance the game has to pull the date which if you have loads of members as stated will take time. Yes the game has its teething issues at some point's but they are resolved when they can.

In terms of coding i'd like to point out a few things, If i was to write you a string of code for something you have never seen before would you be able to work from it?? Because thats what the new developers have had to do, the game runs on a code system they have had to learn and to some parts are still learning, the original dev made the code for this game in the knowledge that he wasn't going to sell it but ended up doing so. The code will have it loop holes which the new devs may not know about.

In terms of new missions would you be happy then for say a 4 week break from new calls, no new units etc, i know the alliance im part of are happy to see new calls and actively work on our set ups to for fill them.

Your point being...... you don't have to deal with the call... its not life threatening if you leave it , if you haven't got the resources then don't send a ambo to it and when you do have one then clear the call.

Just depends really, i know this the US fourm but in the UK some councils use tractors to mow large playing fields so we do sometimes get them, but also as mentioned it could be a tractor as in a tractor unit but this would in theory fall under a truck fire.

What people need to remember is when starting the game you have very little to go by with missions and its call like these that help players earn credits.

Yes there seems to have been a server issue this evening however i believe the issue has now been resolved and the game is working fine for myself.

I have a realistic set up covering 7 counties in the east and central England and i don't struggle unless I get a multiple large calls. I play to most realistic way including delay time being 300 sec for any retained pump, making sure support pumps run with units which require it and even go so far as to set crews to "cross crew" units such as Rescues and Water Carriers.

So im no admin of any kind but I communicate with some of the guys on here who help develop and I can tell you whatever this person is saying it's bull poo. No-one can ban you other than the Devs and they have to have evidence before acting on anything

As has been stated all over the fourms there is a bug which causes some user to experience extreme lag or slow connection when in large alliance. Can't we just be patient and wait its not like the game is completely broke and unplayable

Hmmm thats strange. Has this happened before while you have been playing? It could just be a one off where the game has lagged etc and its not counting an ambulance correctly

Could you enlighten abit more, did you send 5 Ambulances or did you send a mixture of Ambulances and Rapid Response. Also are you running with Critical Care enabled??

I'm putting in some new patrol base locations and in doing some basic research I'm finding myself stuck in the gap between the small and regular cop shops. Small stations can only support 6 vehicle but a regular has cells etc that in the UK are increasingly only a feature of large, regional custody centres. The Patrol Base I've particularly been looking at is a combined RPU and ARV location and it would need more than 6 vehicles a shift but is a secure compound. This is probably the way policing is headed as they look to cut costs?

Should there then be a medium nick that offers say 10 to 15 vehicles at 75,000 credits? No cells or expansions. What do you call think?

You don't have to build cells at the station. I have a normal station with 20 units but 0 cells

    Hello all,

I've made this a post rather than putting it in the Mission Suggestions forum as i feel this needs a discussion and i want to know other peoples preferences towards what im about to suggest. So if you don't know the game has timed or planned events, currently the UK game has none of these calls. I know from past versions that there are vast amount all calls that a planned ranging from fire alarm tests to football games, these calls need certain number of units such a fire engine police etc. The calls have count down timers of about an 1hr or longer before it starts. You provide the units whenever you feel. Once it starts the units can be removed but you will lose the call. The call could last as long as needed say an 1hr maybe even longer. Once done the units are released and able to respond to calls.

I was discussing last night with a friend the types of calls that could be added using this feature and we came up with a few ideas, these being.....

    1) Football match small, Using a POI of stadium would need say police vans riot police etc, lasts 90mins and units can be sent say 2hr before kick off.
    2) Trasnports, This could be anything really and can incorporate alot of things, you could be doing a wide load escort, prisoner transport, medical transport and even diplomatic. Since we know calls can't move this would make an ideal substitute as they could be at the call for a period of time.

    3) Fire exercises, using POIs for things like high rise - hotels - refineries etc, this would add a challenge to the player as you would have to manage resources when units are at the event. So a good example being managing ALP's or making sure you still have cover in more call prone area's meaning sending units from further afield to go to the event.

This isn't something i'd like to see right away, personally i think we need some more updates but this is an idea i had which i think would be a great way to bring planned events to the UK game.

    Regards
    Tom

So the game uses coding to randomly select a road and address within a certain radius of the players stations. Unfortunately this means that some calls do spawn out of the realistic concept such as on major trunk roads or even shipping lanes. There is nothing currently that can be done to prevent this other than clear the calls.

Also I'm intrigued as to where your covering as most services around the M25 have 2 ALPs covering the county.

So in many of the other games there are certain calls which are so called planed. These range from fire alarm tests which on the german and us game need 1 pump or can be large calls such as football games. These events could last 10 min to maybe even 2hrs. Currently there are no such calls in game at the moment.

As said above by TACFan the devs are listening and at the end of the day it's the devs game and if they want to change how things are added it's up to them. After all they do need to make money from this after all.

The advisor choose who they wanted to have help them based on I imagine many factors. Now I'm no advisor or anything to do with the game but through knowing TACFan and other advisor personally with some like Nick who I've known now for over 5yrs or more I think personally they have chosen decent people and also people who have known the game for a long time now.

I've spoken to the advisors myself and they are getting upset when the whole community fights back when any of the updates are implemented and everyone picks of faults or has a mard about this being wrong etc. Bugs will be sorted out and new things will be added but the more you all fight back the less likely the advisors are to get the devs to do any other updates in the future.

Congrats on the update, UK server, but it sure looks like it doesn't change anything for EMS focused players at all and all those things about Hospitals and training hospital staff, etc. What a let down lol

The UK team have worked hard to even get this latest update out to the public. Yes there where teething issues to start with and there a few bugs which i have reported which i have been told will be sorted. I'll point out tho a few things tho in your statement which are false.

    1) There was no mention that im aware off regarding Hospital Staff being trained because if you look in game there is no staff at hospitals.
    2) Sarcasm gets you no where, i've have previously stated on many posts the UK team of helpers do this voluntary and the more people complain the less likely they are to help develop the game. Without them i can honesty tell you and anyone else complaining that the game would be no way near realistic as the devs are german and have very little knowledge of how the UK operates.

You have to remember also the game is still young it hasn't been around as long as the US and German game so will take time to get to there standards. HART is very much a UK thing there aren't may EMS services that have specific teams like we do here. Sebastian coded the game to make it so only he could add things and the devs have to modify or add new code to make things work. They are coding something they haven't written themselves which i can tell you is a pain the backside to do.

The update will come when it's ready, the bugs will be ironed out soon and if i was you i'd change your name before someone say something since if you haven't seen the new it has taken many people's live and to me its a tad disrespectful since people may have lost loved ones to it. (You ain't big or funny setting it as your name)

I can truly say the UK advisors are an amazing bunch. They give up there free time to gather material to make these calls. The mission above was only raised with TACFan yesterday and as he has stated it wasn't suppose to be just the field fire.

Again i will remind everyone this game on the UK basis is still very much new and won't be upto USA standards for a few months but it will soon come.

So in terms of Accuracy the Game will get more accurate as time goes on, the current fire calls that have been released have all been made from real UK responses from a service within the UK. The medical update in the works is being made to be most realistic it can get to the UK with help from a member of the Ambulance Service. I imagine the Police side of things will be updated at some point and again i would imagine someone is in the pipeline to help with that.

In terms of crews many services run different crewing levels from 4 - 9 and even 3 on smaller L4T units. Some units can't be added as a user owned vehicle eg a set EPU unit as some services don't always have a EPU and instead use other vehicles, one such example being Cambridgeshire's ISU unit which replaced the IRU they had, " I will add the IRU units have mostly all been decommissioned now due to there age and cost".

So having a hose layer added as a unit would mean that players who's area's don't have a set HLU or even a HVP won't be able to have a accurate realistic set up. Hence why just keeping a Water Carrier as it is and renaming it to a HVP is more feasible to most.

So by saying make a account on ".com" for a better UK experience i would say is a tad silly as the ".co.uk" will soon be the better option to people.
