Some of the "Major" missions (i.e. Passenger Train Derailment (Major)) require 40 ambulance stations. If you have the create your own coverage area option turned on, those missions wouldn't spawn in areas covered by dispatch centers with less than 40 ambulance stations/expansions.
the only dispatch center I have that option turned on is the Catalina Island area , 2-FDs, 1PD, 1 Clinic and 1 hospital on the same dispatch

This is a wonderful addition for airport fires, industrial, factory, etc. My question/suggestion is there any consideration to either retrofitting the existing AARF equipment to include foam once you activate the extension? Otherwise, how about being able to sell them (even if at a loss) or even trade them for the upgraded foam AARF? I am not as concerned about the type 1 or type 2 upgrades, it would be a plus but the AARF vehicles are better suited and required for airports.
we use them for gas spills also and tanker truck accidents

here is something interesting but I know it has no use in the game was just sharing. believe LAFD is the first in the US to have a robot fire apparatus just as they are the first in the US to get an Electric powered Fire Engine

technically if you put an ambo extension on a station, all staff become paramedics, its more having the extra equipment on the rigs, but i do see the point, i just dont think the devs will implement it, with flycar/ ems rescue/ and mc trailers able to bump bls ambos to als(if i missed a unit that can bump , sorry)
Yes I have tried that and it never did help having the engine crew trained as (ALS Medical Training for Fire Apparatus)

I just wasn't sure if there are more major runs that generated after having all the combined stations in 1 dispatch or it doesn't matter?

is it best to have everything in 1 dispatch or multiple dispatches? do larger size runs create if all the stations are running off the same dispatch? or is there a cap on limits of high end runs are off a hand full of stations?

I just made my regular stations in to forestry all around the hills in LA County and yes its a bit of a pain to get structure fires and regular engine house runs with only forestry rigs and a tender

on these engines you can see Paramedic on the sides, also a screen shot from my text alert of Qunit-31 is the only unit at a medical call.

It should if you require 1 tanker. Have you had it in there as an engine?
I know if you have in your aar 1 rescue. It will pull a rescue engine or a rescue boat.
in reality a lightforce is a pumper-engine with a ladder company or truck company, but the idea of a Quint might be best for realism because they always respond together in tandem (in the USA) and the man power would be correct because here in L.A. 4-5 crew members on a truck and just the one member on the pumper-engine to drive. it's cheaper in the game to produce and less personnel. only down fall is you're losing out on an extra rig for other runs

You might be able to create a bunch of Groups in the ARR for specific light forces. Only issues with that is you will need to manually select which one you want, and can't just have it send the nearest one.
bummer using the ARR hotkey doesn't designate a pumper tanker singly to use as the lightforce enigne. thats the way I been doing it for the last year along with the taskforce key. I was just trying to see if there were other routes others have tried. to do a true lightforce in game its more of a confusing task locating the correct unit then dispatching it. maybe one day the devs might come up with an extra selection for pumper tankers in the ARR...

I have those keys set but it doesn't give me a specific lightforce, just any engine and platform near by, unless I'm not using it correctly

an idea was brought up to me about lightforces and trying to make those 2 units respond together is a tricky task. has anyone came up with a solution to having an acting lightforce or maybe use a Quint in place of the 2 units to act as the lightforce?
