The content advisors, moderators and administrators will tell you that they do the best to make the game real and while some mission requirements may seem to be a bit overkill, they are trying to avoid having a lot of missions that only require 1 unit. There are many missions within the game (such as "power line struck by lightning") that may seem to be overkill, but that is just the way the game has been developed

Yesterday there was a message relating a special where you would be able to collect and "pop" balloons. Since that message appeared, I have not seen one "balloon" show up in the missions. Did I misread the message or am I just not looking in the right place?

I think the whole idea and having in this is stupid, I wish the Devs would spend more time developing the game and less time on stupid seasonal easter hunts and now soccer betting, this has no bearing on emergency simulation in any way shape or form. As for going to stand-up goals, FFS what a waste of a free appliance that could be attending an emergency the football team should do it them selves. I guess real life is far from the thoughts of the Devs

It is just something they do and while it may not be a part of realism it is a way of gaining more points, so I will take it, However, as others have commented to me before, "if you don't like the missions just ignore them and they will delete themself" (in 48 hrs I think?)

It seems as if the process we are discussing was implemented without all factors being considered and also the fact that without a doubt someone would challenge it. Maybe it just needs to be called something else. Maybe "you make the call" or you make the prediction.... take the word bet out of it all together.. perhaps that will satisfy all.

Nothing really to do with the game, but our thoughts go out to the brother and sister firefighters in Lima Peru as they lost lives today after an ARFF Truck responding to an emergency was struck by a departing plane when they crossed and active runway, killing firefighters on board. Guess that drives home the thoughts about realism in the game and why I initially voiced concerns about about the realism of including apparatus accidents in the game. Nothing to play with. Thoughts go out to the members of the Department and the families of the fallen. RIP;(

When they came available I opened a couple coastal rescue stations and a couple coastal air station with all the required people and units. Once they fixed all the bugs I get several missions generated a day and they seem to generate good points. Not sure if I would add more, but I see no real con or pro to having them. Just another part of making the game somewhat realistic for those that have coastlines. What the moderators, administrators and content advisors will tell you is that they try to come up with as many realistic programs and buildings as they can and they they do it for free. The problems encountered will always center around differences in what all our normal jurisdictions do in terms of operations and what each game player feels is the "best" feature or features to add. They are certainly not required....so if they are not working out for you then eliminate them. I had issues with the water rescue extension and an overwhelming amount of missions daily, so I just deactivated them.. I saw no real value so I bailed on that part of realism.

This is a bug LSSM side, not game side, if you have a problem go there and complain, the team on the forums do not work on it and can not help you.

Thanks gooochy.. I was not complaining, I was simply asking a question if anyone was having a problem.

It is 640- AM Eastern Time. Is the LSS Manager down? It is not present on my game and I have not changed my settings. Just wondering if it is game wide or just me?

I have had this happen before and support took 72hrs to help me resolve it after having patients stuck for weeks and not using the hospitals during the time. They need the exact info you posted here and they will resolve it in 72hrs once a support ticket is placed

Do not look for them to resolve any issues in 72 hours as the initial messages are automated. That is doubtful. I have learned that when I send a message, I reply back to the automated response with a screen shot of the issue and that seems to help them. Realize that you are one of hundreds of folks that play the game that are reporting issues to support.

I made sure everything is off and logged out and logged back in as well as cleared out the cache.. Hopefully this will correct it. In answer to your question I have gotten a "very few" water rescue missions that are not for flooding. I realize that realistically, flooding is a real time deal (especially in Florida) but when I had the extensions were active I would sometimes get 20 or more flooding missions, most of which were major flooding requiring tons of equipment and multiple boats. Sometimes the missions were more than 200 miles from where a boat was. ....An Incident commander could go buy a boat locally and get it there quicker...LMAO. So despite being real life missions, they became obnoxious and overwhelming.

Thanks for all the help to see if it corrects.

I have just scrolled through every building in the dispatch center and confirmed that all water rescue extensions are off. Thanks for the advice.. I guess it is just one of those glitches...

The next time you get a water mission, look at the requirements screen.

This will tell you the station that generated the mission.

Go into that stations and have a look see, does that station have water rescue? Does any station within the dispatch centre have water rescue?

I have been doing that,,,,,and I have also disabled any stations that originally had water rescue extensions
