Here are 3 Improvements on how to make forest firefighting more realistic

    • Setting forest areas:  This has 2 major parts. first we could be able to choose forested areas. Meaning, we could set a polygonic area that forest fires will spawn in (or even a circle, like the water rescue missions) .Withmy last suggestion the forested areas would be chosen automatically through OSM, kinda like the roads. If that's not possible , at least make wildfires spawn in park or forest POIs.
    • Expanding fires: forest fires should be able to expand. I'm not talking visually on the map (although that would be incredible to say the least), but in terms of the water that is needed which should progressively increase. Of course, this feature could be toggleable, if a player wants to play more casually and not have to worry about the time. this could make air units actually useful.
    • Better aviation mechanics: Again, what could be a toggleable feature. Aircraft should have an x1 time limit which they can operate before they return to base for x2 minutes to refuel. Also, the load they carry is per drop, meaning that every x3 minutes the load is discharged , adding up to the total. (x being a variable changed by the player, with x3 having a minimum of 5(depending on the closest water?) minutes and only being applicable to Helis and air tankers. heavy air tankers return to base before refilling.

Now, I understand that I'm suggesting a whole different system for dynamic fires, but I don't think that it is completely unfeasable and would sure make this ascpect of the game more exciting, realistic and fun. I may add to this suggestion in the future. please let me know what you guys think

Alright, I know what I'm going to write might be downright impossible.

It would be amazing if there was a system implemented that creates POIs based on OSM's data. OpenStreetMap has some pretty solid data and could support a multitude of POIs.

Some of which being: bus stops, banks, coast lines, Highway exits, hospitals, hotels, supermarkets, schools, tram stops and more

Of course one (and the only at the moment) solution is to spend a few hours manually placing every point on the map (and doing it everytime you expand) which is fine, but the OSM thing would make the whole thing easier.

Totally agree, as this could also give the player more control of their strategy ( e.g. if a mission asks for 50 officers they can either send 25 patrol cars or 10 cars and 3 crew carriers)

It's also more realistic, as in most cases the officers are the important thing, not their cars (I mean sometimes specific vehicles should be required e.g. MCVs, or a minimum number of vehicles to block traffic etc)
