For context. Long time player, and I operate a small alliance in Wisconsin. I'm running into an issue with one prison in central Wisconsin. All of my patrol cars are sheriffs, and I noticed that the prison in question never has any prisoners in it. So I went to do a manual transport but the prison doesn't show up. I have my Sheriffs set to 100 km distance for dispatch and the prison is no further than 50-60 km so I am puzzled. It doesn't even show up on calls that are really close, <10 km. The sheriff units have "only transport to own cells" turned off so they should be transporting there, but that shouldn't matter during a manual transport anyway.
Has anyone ran into anything like this? We have other functioning prisons, is there a setting I missed?
Thanks in advance.

It's been really intermittent since late last night for me (in the US). This AM I couldn't get in, and now I can, but I can't actually run missions.

What's stopping you from currently labeling them as different length ladders and quints and RP'ing what a certain mission may require?
This is a super underrated comment.
The beauty of this game is that your imagination is really the limit.
As I recreate counties in Wisconsin, many have multi purpose UTVs due to the terrain in north-central Wisconsin. I can make an EMS UTV with the Fly Car that responds to rural calls near its' station, acting as the first responder until EMS transport arrives, and for departments who don't have that service I can make Utility Trucks with Storage for whatever might be needed. These units aren't often needed but I can simulate them effectively with the custom unit & ARR.
Additionally, since the EMS Chief doesn't treat patients but Rapid Response Vehicles in my region do, I just label specific Fly Cars and EMS Chiefs that would be the RRVs as such, and then the ARR has a button to push that dispatches 1 Rapid Response Vehicle. In reality it is two units, but for the sake of simulation, its 1.I can go on and on, its the little things that make this game so fun, and asking the devs to allow us to edit the length of platform truck ladders, well that's just going to be more money out of our pockets because they are going to have to retool several missions so they have building heights. It's way easier to just do it yourself.

Thank you both ITfosho and mjs03.
For the sake of realism I'll invest the time. Otherwise it'll annoy me and I'll probably just redo it down the road lol. -
Thats because they can market it differently and then charge you differently
Exactly! I don't want the game to do the same lol.

Where do you stop when you get that customized though? There needs to eventually be a point where the details end.
Pierce has Quints that are "Ladders" 75 feet, 100 feet, 107 feet and Quints that are "Platforms" which are 100 feet, and 110 feet. -
I know I'm in the minority based on the poll, but the entire concept of this is that you should be managing your house and letting the alliance manage the rest.
One county in a statewide alliance is enough to keep someone who is more casual really busy.
That said. I don't find any issue spending on coins as long as you have the disposable income. It's not like the devs are billionaires squeezing money out of us.If you buy your coins when they have promotions, you can get really good deals. The last time I purchased was over a month ago and it was 900 coins, but I got over 1800 because of the daily & fall rewards that were running. I still have several hundred left. If you're going to spend, you just need to be smart about it and maximize your dollars.

I'm aiming for high levels or realism, and the local PD has an armored rescue truck.
In-game does this count as a SWAT armored vehicle and Tactical Ambo or is it too new to count for anything? Before I go the time investment of teaching staff SWAT and Tactical Rescue training I want to know if I'm getting what I want. -
You can create clinics to get your patient transfers, and then just bump up the alliance fund rate to 100%.
Then have your EMS Chiefs set to a threshold like 50% tax or something so they will never auto dispatch there, or set to only dispatch to a hospital with the specific specialty.Never thought of adding nursing homes. That's kind of a good one.

I've played since 2021 and I've never had a HEMS requirement. I just send them when I feel a mission would require it.

That helps. I just started a new account after having my last one a few years. That last one had an ARR for every mission and the new one I’m trying to have hyper realistic units in each station.
I paid less attention to the MPDS and more to the amount of units for the ARR.
I think I’ll built my ARR different this time, again with more of an attention to realism.
Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing.
I send in a tender from a rural area 10 minutes away, but for the sake of realism is there any way to avoid this?
Anyone know if dropping POIs can help? I put down one City Centre and a few other things too, schools, and restaurants. Will it help identify that’s its a more urban area if I put down a lot more?
