That may be right, in which case I hope the Devs would implement an “Any Ambulance” selection that includes BLS ambulances.

I’d also love to see some type of “extra capacity” equipment that enables one ambulance to transport two patients

I would love to see Water Tank and/or Fire Hose equipment (similar to the current equipment for fire units) that would allow Fly-Cars and EMS Rescue units to provide a small amount (150 gallons) of water for fire suppression.
This would allow units similar to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Fast Response units (pictured), which are staffed by paramedic firefighters to respond to fire and EMS calls.

I’m thrilled that MissionChief added Medical Equipment for fire units, but I propose the equipment size be reduced from 20 to 10.
From a real-life perspective, it makes little sense that ALS medical equipment (typically an EKG monitor/defib unit and a drug box) is considered twice as large as a 5500-gallon water tank or a crane (both size 10).
From a gameplay perspective, reducing the size of Medical Equipment to 10 would likely cause many more players to buy it. I would gladly buy Medical Equipment for many of my 100+ fire engines (which can each hold 20 equipment), but they already have either light towers or generators (size 10 each), so size 20 medical equipment simply is not an option.

As shown in the screenshot, I have an ARR for 1 Light Tower Trailer and 1 Energy Generator Trailer.
As shown in the next screenshot, however, the ARR does not select the closest unit with Energy Generator Equipment (Engine 37) or Light Tower Equipment (Truck 37). Instead, it selects only actual trailer units, which are much farther away.
I have not ticked the box of either unit in the “Edit Unit” section to dispatch it as a custom class.

The ARR for “Any Ambulance Unit” does not select BLS ambulances.
As shown in the screenshots, I have an ARR with “Any Ambulance Unit” marked as 5. But the ARR selects only ALS ambulances, and not any BLS ambulances. (Rescue 837 and Rescue 892 are BLS ambulances, the rest are ALS ambulances).
I get the same result if I change the number to more or less than 5. I have not ticked the box of any ambulance unit in the “Edit Unit” section to dispatch it as a custom class. -
Same for me. All my station rosters are out of order. Makes it very hard to keep up with training and vehicles assignments.
