Given how some agencies have two piece companies such as chicago fds squad units or LAFDs light force setup, it would be cool to have an option to link vehicle together so they always respond together. similar to how we can pair a trailer to a tow vehicle. this would work much easier than using the AAR as it can still mix up units.

thats why I asked how he got 4-5 on a platform, Ladder rig is a platform
im using quints as my ladder companies since most in my area staff 3-4 for realism plus they dual function as a firetruck.
is more common for us to have ladders or towers with pumps and tanks than tradional "trucks" due to how we respond
-
Have now had several missions where the # of required fire fighters keeps changing throughout the mission yet there is nothing on the mission requirement page stating how many are required. all of my quint personnel ar tech rescue trained. this is getting ridiculous and needs to be addressed
Had a mission with more than required # of units where there but it still said i needed 15 firefighters. All Engines are staffed with 4 and Ladders are 4-5

This would be great for districts. if anyone has ever used software like SARtopo or OnX Offroad you can draw lines and make polygons. this would also be helpful to draw out response areas or divisions for fire. this could help with letting you know if you use up a unit in that area like k9 units or battalion chiefs instead of automatically pulling them from another response area or zone

Still nothing, looks like this isn't getting fixed and we don't get the rewards.

I have event missions turned on but have yet to see and Labor Day Missions since the event "started"

No real need to do that as if you send the correct Ambulance it auto transports on Transfer Calls
As aware of that as i am, it still would be a nice feature for those of us that like to mix it up. we do have services in my area that have BLS upgradable trucks where a supervisor or fly unit can upgrade it to ALS
-
Can We amke it so all ems vehicle are seen when dispatching for transfers. currently it only shows ambulances, so if i want to send BLS and a fly car or chief i have to go to that vehicle and manually add it. just makes it simpler to do this.

New Ideas for fire station Vehicles
High Water Vehicle for flood evacuation
Dive Units or W/ Rescue/recovery Diver Education
Could Also allow for dive equipment to be carried on heavy Rescue,Utility or Mobile Air, Crew Carrier
Also Can we add equipment slots for the MCV as many have onboard light towers and generators

Would it be possible or worth it to add a feature to the graphic selection so that we can pin favorite unit graphics. i know we can select a whole pack but sometimes i mix them in or reuse some of the same ones. possibly a check box or somthing that moves them to the first page or an additional tab. Thoughts?

patient transfer dispatch screen doesnt allow you to select a fly car to dispatch. have to manually go to the car and attach it. can we fix this so we can send them with BLS patients please. just helps add some realism
-
Make it so the platform trucks and heavy rescues can have up to 6 firefighters on them instead of only 3 irl especilly in big cities such as New york they have 6 firefighters on them.
Yes, Especially when we need more trained members on less apparatus.

Ladder tenders actually have the same exact equipment as a ladder truck on a rescue chassis.
https://www.phoenix.gov/content/dam/ph…ents/074793.pdfcool that you found that, gives a much better description.

I'm task to building more stations in AZ and I see some departments have a ladder tender which I'm not familiar with in my years of firefighting. I'm looking for more info on LT's. obviously it is not a Quint, I understand they can be used for EMS. are they also used as a utility rig for a ladder co.? do they have a tank and pump and be used as a lightforce? also if anyone uses a LT what rig and gear storage you use?
Had to research this myself a while back. Ladder tenders are basically a 2nd piece for the ladder companies. The ladder crew will take it to certain calls instead of the ladder truck, such as medical calls, MVA's and technical rescue calls. It carries all the rescue equipment that isn't kept on the ladder truck. it's kind of like giving each ladder company a medium duty rescue so they don't have to have as many staffed rescue companies.

Can we add an extra function to the buildings tab in the dispatch center where we can switch buildings in and out of service. better than clicking through each individual one. this way if we are needing to generate certain missions like police missions i can just go down the list and click fire stations off.
-
better yet.....do away with the equipment market all together.... When you buy and Engine or Truck ladders come with it. Also an ARFF is not a Foam Tender....it is a suppression vehicle and a Foam Tender is a support unit carrying spare foam...two separate items. A quint is a quint and a Truck is a truck....a true "truck" does not not have pump/hose/water.
Agreed, the equipment market has made half these vehicles useless. you can get away with not using over half of them if you just buy a heavy rescue and load it down with stuff.

Is it possible to add a funtion to the possible missions tab so that we can search missions based on unit requirements. for example being able to search what missions require ems chiefs, or mobile air trucks. this just helps with determining how many i have. theres no point in having 10 of a unit if the highest required amount on a mission is 1 or 2. yes i get multiple missions but sometimes that space can be allocated for different more needed units.

We should get a mini pumper that acts as a normal pumper but with less water.
agreed either let type 5 count as a fire truck or let it carry fire hose equipment
