Yeah this is relevant. Their idea is sound but the devs do not take player ideas into consideration. Thats been a clear example set by this dev team.
that's 100% fact

says the Capacity: 10 on the HR+boat but the medical EQ is 20. is that an error on the devs part?
Medical equipment is not going onto my HR+light boat. description says it's allowed.
(Possible vehicles: Type 1 fire engine, Rescue Engine, Platform truck, Heavy rescue vehicle, Heavy Rescue + Light Boat, Battalion chief unit, Utility unit, Type 5 engine, Type 4 engine, Pumper Tanker, Water Tanker, Type 3 engine)
their definition of ground ladders is not what we call them in the fire service. it should labeled as aerial ladder
anyone play FF Sim Ignite? your thoughts? I didn't find it much as realism. start off as the captain on the rig then after that you're the engineer with the Capt. helmet and you also perform rescues, ventilation, nozzleman and also giving orders.![]()
I brought this up 2 years ago and it went no where ![]()
I am starting to feel that all the times I have bought coins to support is pretty much wasted, I had spent almost $3k for coins over the last 5 years and been getting pretty crappy service in game, especially on the forums at the start my alliance is on the UK serve but play in the US map and every time I promote my alliance I do so in the UK forums and the admins move it to the US.![]()
what I am seeing if I have an engine 45 seconds away in the call window then after that same engine is dispatched it'll show it is 2 minutes and some odd seconds away
where I served at we called that (standby) not MA
Type 3 does count as a regular engine, the rest currently do not
I believe SA is talking about realistically playing as I am talking about it
All the police helicopters in my area serve multiple purposes. A lot of them have dedicated Bambi bucket for wildfires near by. And, most notably, for trauma patients, police helicopters assist with transporting ciritcal patients to local trauma centers or just hospitals in general. It would be nice to have these two additions to the police helicopter.
I agree for the FD side, LAC and city uses their waterdrop helo's as air squads when needed
A lot of more rural areas such as the Sonoma area may not have a type 1 or type 2 engine. A lot of them may just have type 3s or barely have any type 1s. I am proposing that perhaps the wildland engines can count as regular engines, because large agencies like Calfire do not normally have type 1s or type 2s unless under county contract. They respond to structure fires with their brush rigs. In my county, the volunteer departments use their brush rigs to respond to most fires or emergencies where they are needed, so it would really help if at least some of the wildland rigs could count as a standard engine for calls. I know there’s equipment I could’ve added to type 1 or type 2 engines, but it feels wrong using equipment instead of actually getting the extension. I don’t know if you guys could relate, but that just how I feel on that. But, on that note, all I want is for wildland fire engines to count as type 1s or type 2s for regular missions.
I agree, any type engine should be able to assist in structure and auto fires as in real life. I have a friend who's with USFS and she's captain on a type four out of Idaho when they responded to So-Cal for MA they had come across 2 different auto fires along the way.
these are off my Tahoe, the roof rack for my cargo is off it normally goes on winter months or when prepping for longer operation periods.
I know on the west coast majority of counties the LE agencies were lead on SAR operations fire slowly got into SAR. I believe LASD got into SAR late 40's or early 50's where LAC got into SAR early 2000 after I had left the department.
I think they should cap out at a certain amount.
I personally don't mind the lack of information upfront. Its a more "realistic" feel to it on a dispatch screen. You will eventually play enough that most calls you'll remember what's needed because they reappear frequently. But i have checked out LSSM and it does help for browser versions of the game! IF you're playing on mobile most of the time like me, thats where unit memory comes into play. I have spent some time creating ARR buttons for each "type" of call for ease of playing especially for mobile instead of scrolling finding all units. I don't have all the calls. but its help me just quick select what is needed.

I do the same, I'll send 1-2 engines then get the data from them to send more, for like residential and commercial fire alarms I'll dispatch an assignment at the start
