The only thing that I can find that is comparable to a RRU is Transport for London's ERU which does get mobilised to rail incidents.

I can confirm on PC I have no issues collecting the daily rewards. However I have been unable to test the mobile app.
Just tried on PC after following ChiefBoden61 and his advice. Now I don't get the option to collect the bonus.

For the past three days, whenever I've tried to collect the Daily Login bonus I've encountered the little spinning circle of patience. I've tried logging out and in but every time it still appears.

I started about 1pm, completed several Valentine's missions without reward, and not getting the roses either.
