We are really working almost 24/7 now - yesterday we've finished 3 more functions:

This allows you to share your mission instantly from the mission list.

Chat/Mission/Radio notification badges (limited to the layout-01 plugin, or any plugin which needs that menu on the right).
The badges display unread messages and new missions since you've visited the mission or chat window.

Last but not least: rename vehicles.
Only available in the call center/responding poing (not sure how that's called -> your meldkamer :D) - let's you bulk rename your vehicles. You can use tags like id (enters vehicle id), old(old name), vehicletype, stationname in combination with your own text. (ignore that {old} in the screenshot, seems that there is a bug)

    example:

    {id} / {vehicleType} / {stationName}
    or
    {id} :D {vehicleType} :D {stationName}
    or
    --- {vehicleType}---
or what ever you can think off, if you want some more tags to be added, let us know!

    update: new function!

i used the map search to do my own stuff (right now because i am developing it) - it gives you the possibility to search your missionlist for specific missions. The ones you've searched for will be shown - any other will be hidden. On the left there are some buttons, so that you can switch the missions within the alert mask. The button list can be disabled using the blue eye above it - on top of the eye you'll see what you've searched for.

    Any suggestions?

You can actually get more, the limitation is bound to your amount of stations. If you build more stations, you'll be able to buy more helicopters as well.

Theres absolutely nothing stopping anyone from doing it the way you mentioned. But as I stated it would be a customizable message from an administrator. You're correct it's not hard to copy and paste a message but that would be the exact same thing as what I am suggesting just minus the copy and paste part. Plus when you receive many new members at one time or have to do it multiple times a day, it gets very old very fast having to do that over and over again. It's better to get some kind of welcome message as a new member then nothing at all. We also welcome each new members with a welcome message in our alliance chat when they are accepted.
And on a personal note this is just a suggestion, I understand that everyone has their opinions but the way your statement was worded, it seems as though you are bashing me and calling me lazy. I'm not saying that is what you are meaning by the post, just saying that's how it reads.

    tl;dr
If it's in the name of an admin and that specific message would be the same as if you'd send it by yourself, then it could be something helpful.

My intention was not to bash you, sometimes my wording isn't the best (soz, i am not a native speaker - seems like i thought too german while writing that). I am going to reword that last post. Sorry again.

For me the suggestion sounded like a automatic bot without connection to a username, which is not really nice in a game like this (form an ux perspective, since there is no contact person behind that). As well as sending those automatic messages feels like the alliance staff would not care about their members/community. It does sometimes cost some effort to keep an alliance running.

This would be a function that not everyone would use.

    From a developers perspective:
Why would you implement something that's only being used by 10% of the user base? It's quite an amount of effort for something that could be done way easier without that automatic message at all. Why 10%? Well it can be more or less, but ask yourself those questions:

    • How many people are in an alliance?
    • How many of those do really care about the alliance and are not joing
    • How many of these admins are actually sending out messages to the users at all?
    • How many of these users are even going to read those inbox messages?
    • How many users are going to react based on that message?

I could go on with that list, but in the end most people do not care. Most users which really intend to join an alliance, read the welcome/info section of them. Some even go ahead and read the rules before they join. Therefore i do not really see any point in getting this into the game, since there is more downsides to this (in my opinion).

What's stopping you from doing that by yourself? I'd rather get a message from someone of the alliance then a stupid 'bot' sending me some default message i will ignore anways.
That's not how you welcome users and please don't tell me it's too much effort to welcome the new guy by copy pasting that message you've already written.

What is the problem with sending the message by hand. I'd rather get in touch with the alliance staff then a bot.
In my opinion it's not how you should welcome users, i think it's better to send a template to the user by myself.

edit: reworded. soz and check down below..

It's not possible, vehicle speed are determined on the road speed that people have set on Open Street Maps

Vehicle speeds are set by road type, those do not come from osm. Still, it's not possible to speedup the vehicle while it's driving - you could only do it once you send it to a call and then use the speedboost for the whole route.
It could be implemented, but does it really make sense? It's a build up game and not a arcade game where you could use nitro on your vehicles.

I'd rather not like to have that in the game.

As you can see, CHief 91, is taking a direct path, and they can easly take a road there, and all other units are taking the roads, and here, chief 91-3 is doing the same, Also Chief 19, is taking a straight path, when the pd who are leaving the same spot, going to the same call are taking the roads. Another example, E505 going to the same call as the rest there, is taking its own path while the rest go on the street Chief 80, Rescue 8- are shpwn going accross an imaginary bridge that the game mad, they always go up over on the bridge, first time they have done this

It's really difficult to see the destination, which causes the issue.

That's a issue which comes with openstreetmap - therefore it's not really fixable unless you know how to edit things in osm or know someone who could do it for you.
I know some guys over at http://www.leitstellenspiel.de who could do this. But in order to do that, you'd need to provide a detailed description of where that is and some screenshots of the destination.
