There is no Mid and West Wales police. It's Dyfed Powys Police Service I haven't got the SWP or Gwent Ones done.

The thought of starting out again on MC.uk demoralises me. I've spent millions on my existing setup and can't face doing it all again to be honest. ” Although the vast majority of us who switched from US to UK had large setups, it can be a refreshing start …

In Uk most HEMS are not based at Hospitals. May be different in other countries. The newer AW169 helicopters have the ability to carry two stretchers but in normal operation will likely be configured for one only. Gives more room for the critical care team in the back to work. I agree that having some form of critical care car (super fly-car) at the HEMS base would be good as that's rapidly become the norm over here in the UK.

  • I use small ambulance stations with EMS Rescue and/or ambulances for MR/Lowland Rescue. And Small Ambo Station with one EMS Rescue for CG Teams

  • Quote from Alctw10: “Can anyone do me a HM Coastguard building graphic please? Going to start adding small ambulance stations to use as HMCG bases ” board.missionchief.com/index.p…4d78535d1e726cb888107a5f3board.missionchief.com/index.p…4d78535d1e726cb888107a5f3

  • Whitchit has done a lot of different vehicles. this is the link to his google drive. drive.google.com/drive/folders…R7sTn3Zq6eY8Q?usp=sharing There are a few other CG vehicles floating around. Have a look at the UK forums vehicle graphics pages. I've managed to get a white L200 and a Yeti SCOO car along the way.

  • Quote from Alctw10: “Is there anyway you could put me forward to assist if needed? I understand there will be persons advising on different services etc but as there are no boats on the UK version and no Coastguard on any version it makes me think there won't be an advisor for that side of things? I could be wrong and if I am apologies. I'd be very happy to help if needed. ” I use EMS Rescue (with a suitable vehicle graphic) for my HMCG CRT's. Means they do heavy rescue stuff and can also co-res…

  • It depends on the estate (buildings in use). ambulances in SE Wales are often based at SDP's (Social Deployment Points) which are at local fire stations. In Rural areas joint buildings seem to be coming forward more and more. There's a few in Wales now that are either Fire/ambulance or all three. Barry has fire/ambulance, Wrexham and I think Abertillery are all three. Sometimes Mountain Rescue or CG share facilities too.

    Would this be of help?

  • Quote from Wings: “Yeah can't say I've ever heard of that. Seems odd to be combining fire & police - the two are much less alike than ambulance & fire which are often joined together or overlapped in many parts of the world. ” My old home town in South Wales, UK now has Police, fire, Ambulance and coastguard Rescue under one roof.

Quote from StuartA1984: “agreed on the call editing and changes. Some features I would like to see added is the USAR teams and HART teams. There is also the option to add mountain rescue teams. Yes granted we can build and edit units so they respond like the above but I feel it would be better to add them as a whole unit rather then a name change. ” An don't forget the Coastguard Rescue Teams

  • the number of calls is created based around your max number of stations of a type (so that's two fire stations) plus one call. Gives you a maximum of three calls. I've two setups. One on MC.com of 28 police, 36 ambulance, 41 fire so that gives me a max of 42 calls. My MC.co.uk set up has only four fire and four ambo so it maxes out as five calls currently. hope that helps.

  • Quote from KieranWood: “Tried doing Wales, takes half an hour to get 2 pumps together sometimes! ” Yep, ambulances are even more spread out. In the end i went for 'near realism'. Stations are where they should be, as are specialist units but with fire stations i ended up using quints or rescue engines (either/or at a station) to ensure I could cover the requirements of the calls. And I use EMS Rescue units to represent CG Rescue Stations and Mountain Rescue Units. Gives me a better heavy rescue …

  • I've got a chunk of Wales done. Lot's of space, hardly any resources. Lol
